Château Ollieux Romanis, Corbières Blanc 2024
Château Ollieux Romanis is a historic estate in the heart of the Boutenac sub-zone of the Languedoc, owned by the Bories family since the 1970s. It spans approximately 150 ha of vineyards on sandstone and limestone soils, much of it organic and certified in conversion. The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, biodiversity and expressing the unique terroir of Corbières. Made from a blend of 30% Roussanne, 30% Marsanne, 20% Grenache Blanc and 20% Macabeu (Viura). Pale lemon in colour with a green-tint edge. On the nose: white blossom, ripe pear and a hint of waxed citrus peel. The palate is crisp and lively, underpinning lime zest, peach-flesh and a stony mineral core with a clean, gently extended finish. A bright, well-balanced southern French white, made for early drinking and everyday enjoyment.
